The port of Antwerp became in the 2nd part of the 19th century the centre of grain trafic in Belgium. Our silo's from Samga (Société Anonyme des Magasins à Grains d'Anvers) at the Amerikadok can tell the most precious stories about the biggest swith in Grain storage and transportation.
We greatly increased our dry bulk activities by diversifation in other commodities.
In 2017, Samga invested in brand new warehouses with a total capacity of 90000 Mt. Those warehouses have been constructed with high quality and sustainable materials.
